In 1984 the notion of making HO scale decals was hatched at Milan, Michigan.
One night at the Milan crossing I, my business partner, Dr. George C. Drake,
Jr. (now deceased) and Dick Kuelbs
decided to try a few limited Wabash decal items. Since that time, the product line has expanded to incorporate other midwestern and southeastern fallen flag railroads.
I worked my way through Purdue University as a brakeman on the Norfolk & Western on lines that were the Nickel Plate and the Wabash. These summer jobs triggered my interest in lettering freight cars that I found interesting. Most of the items in the product line have either never been made or have been out of production for decades. I work from photographic images to ensure accuracy. I am proud of my work and research. All of my decals are silk screened by Ron Roberts at Rail Graphics. I do not do any custom decal work other than for my own projects. If you want custom decals contact Ron Roberts and he will be able to help you.
Thank you for your interest in this decal product line!
